Inspired by a visit to the historic site of Persepolis, Iran, this mandala features stylised floral designs based on the stone carvings from these ancient ruins. Cropped pine trees with their familiar twisted trunks and the rich colours of traditional stained glass windows are bordered by the trellis design of traditional wooden window frames.
