2017 was the United Arab Emirates’ Year of Giving, and we offered gratitude for the many gifts life has bestowed on us. The love of family, friends and community, the opportunity to work and feel purposeful, the joys of experiences that help us grow and the abundance of good health, wealth and happiness.

Each day is a blessing, for which we have a responsibility to care for each other and the environment; working together to build a world of harmony and peace. Dubai offers us the opportunity to experience fascinating cultures with complex histories, and travel to places we’d previously never dreamed of visiting.

The angel in this piece represents Spirit, the Divine life force behind and within everything. In the background, symbols of both aboriginal and Arabic cultures surround the full moon, with all its powers of manifestation.
